Celtic Crumbs Ingredients
Preparing food with quality ingredients is at the heart of what I do here at Celtic Crumbs. I bake each and every item using the same ingredients I use for my own family. Knowing the expense involved in running a household, I can also say that sourcing high quality ingredients at a low cost is very important to me for my community of customers, this way I honor my mission and uphold my values of affordable and accessible food. Different recipes may contain different ingredients which I will always list, but below I have catalogued a group of main ingredients as well as principles guiding the selection, so that you may be involved in knowing the process of what it takes to source, prepare, and deliver nourishing food from one home to another.
Flour - organic, unenriched, unbleached.
Sugar - I use unbleached, minimally processed cane sugar.
Brown Sugar - To ensure quality as well as taste and affordability, I mix my own brown sugar from scratch using high quality brown molasses and the sugar above.
Vanilla - nothing fake. 100% pure vanilla extract.
Oils - I utilize butter and coconut oils. Never any seed oils or margarine here.
Additionally - no fake sugars, never any food coloring, preservatives, or additives will be used in our products. This means the extensive shelf life decreases so that your health and longevity may increase.
